I need programming instructions for a 1993 Buick Regal Gran Sport. Yes It Has that Option!!! There is a wire in the trunk that cycles all of the door and trunk locks when connected to ground. Can't seem to get it to recognize the Keyless remotes.

That's great! You're multiskilled! You'll be able to create programs to help the hospital/clinic/patients if you can fit that in. And being in the nursing profession, you would be able to understand/see a lot of things that regular programmers wouldn't and incorporate that into the programs. I hope you'll get the opportunity to do it.

I want to learn web programming and design. What are the best programs to master?
I would like to be a project manager for a web company. I need to learn a variety of programs in order to do this. I do not have any of these skills presently. Any idea of which basic programs I should learn first followed by moderate and difficult programs.
Time lines necessary for each program would also be helpful.

I tried re programming my remote but nothing is happening still. Do i need a new remote?
The lights on the bottom of the remote work and the Wii works but the remote won't work on screen. I've tried new batteries and reprogramming the remote several times. Is there anything else I can try before going out and buying a new one?

I know you changed the batteries but take them out %26amp; leave them out for several minutes. Give it a half hour.
Some programmable remotes have a capacitor to hold memory while you change batteries. Sometimes that will let them reset.

How do be more interested in computer programming, I am totally not interested now?
I am currently a computer science student, and I have to do programming assignments. The problem is that I am totally not interested at all in programming. So how do I be more interested in what I am doing.

First off class programming assignments are only fun when you make it a game to build the first smallest fastest most interesting solution, try to make it the cleanest in the class. If you're not competitive try doing it while listening to music.
On the side you have to want to build stuff, I assume you've built models or drawn war pictures as a kid or played strategy games. Programming is about applying a strategy to solve a puzzle to win by making the bits, bytes and symbols do what you want them to better than the other guys solution or you copy theirs from open source credit them extend what they did and move on.
Build a web site on your fav hobbie and add some php to it.. Learn how to throw each assignment onto the page... Use stumbleupon with the tech / programming sections turned on. Pretend you're in Wargames, Hackers, or Tron.
If none of these things sound like fun to ya switch up your major.

All I'll say is don't be stuck doing something you lack interest in for the rest of your life. I assume you are just beginning college and there is plenty of time to discover other interests. If necessary, take a quarter/semester off from school and find out what you enjoy. You'll be thankful that you did over the next forty years.

I like to do programs that can control external devices. Try make a simple circuit with say 8 LEDs and put a battery and try to use your parralel port to make it blinks some funny pattern. I like the feeling when everything starts to work, and you will feel that with programming, you can control stuff.
That's how i like programming. Or you can try write a program that display one white dot in the screen and then make it move about in a random manner.
Silly isn't it. But remember knowledge you can learn from these silly practises can make you money.
Whatever you choose to learn， just have fun ok.

What course / training do i need to do for a software / programming / networking job in NY / NJ ?
I did MCA (Master in Computer Applications) in 1998 (from India). Was in the teaching field for 5 years. I am 35 years old now. Recently i moved to NY. I am looking for a job in the computer field (Not teaching). But i do not have any experience in the software / networking industry. I earned CCNA certification in 2003, but it was expired in 2006. Presently i am not in touch with any of the latest technologies. My interests and skills are in programming side.

* the application irrespective of the computer part ... that is what we are programming ... manufacturing industry, accounting, trucking, retail ... whatever the business is ... if we don't know the business reality, that uses the computers, our computer know how is worthtless
* try to keep abreast of changing technologies ... it seems like we are doing the same work again and again, but using different languages OS tools etc. to get very similar results, so as the world moves to newer ways to do the same results, or not as good, or new features, we need to learn the new stuff
* know how to implement combination of a particular operating system, networking system, programming languages, data base system, to meet whatever the changing business needs are.
So for example ... in the last week, I was asked for, and I delivered:
* Figure out why some accounting totals did not agree with each other ... I tracked it down to some parts being entered into the system without proper costs, then costs fixed later, so different transactions at different times on the same parts either had null value or corrected value
* Figure out why a particular accounting total jumped by a large sum of money on different days ... I lreverse engineered where the data came from
* Change schedule of products our customers need us to make for them, to show total shipments in last 3 months, to help enhance lot sizing ... for this I wrote 4 programs, 2 in RPG, 2 in CL, in which I basically took some existing programs, copied them, re-wrote some sections of code, embedded SQL/400 to extract the new data desired.
* List of all transactions posted to General Ledger for fiscal year 2006 (the report was 4,000 pages which came to 28 meg which was too big to e-mail, so it was sent via CD Rom) ... this software delivery was via a combination of different programming languages
* Total $ expenditures by vendor for the year 2006 ... this software delivery was via Query
There are several tasks I currently have that sound simple, but are taking forever because I have never done that kind of networking before ... I suspect we do not have some stuff installed on our computer systems that are needed to make stuff work, and I am hampered for lack of any documentation or manuals on what I am being asked to do.
There's also some work I do when time permits, such as:
* forensic accounting ... where I am identifying suspicious patterns of data flows, and back tracing them to identify any cases of us paying for services not received, or where costs have risen so dramatically that adjustments need to be made in our pricing

Can I build a Website without the knowledge of programming? If YES then HOW?
Dude...use a frontpage program by microsoft. U don't have to be a whizkid just some general knowledge..and get some books to guide u.
Once ur done, you can host it on the web using a the large amount of free hosting sites available today...my fav. is brinkster.
And u can opt for the free option but for as low as 5 bucks a month u can get ur own domain.
And then for database why not use frontpage to hook up ur wepage to say a simple SQL database. again it can be done with frontpage...
generating traffic is upto the design and layout of ur page...the more interesting the better..what webpage do u have in mind anyway?????
Reply:well i have created a free website with free hosting, it is quick and easy, and doesn't need alot of brain work, trust me. YOu should be able to create a database free, using Microsoft access i think, but do not quote me on that. Where on the internet can I start learning Windows programming from scratch?
In that online learning resourse, if there is such one at all, I especially want to have some examples (of commands, codes, scripts, etc.) provided that I could try on my own and see what they produce.
